Last year Hot Chip have been the darlings of the music press since the release of their album ‘The Warning’. Yet behind their records, the group boast an enormous back catalogue of re-mixes that give you some idea of where they are coming from with their music. The latest act to go under their surgical knife is none other then dance gods Kraftwerk, with two remixes of 'Aerodynamik' and 'La Forme.' These particular re-mixes retain that calculator sound and robotic German voice that make Kraftwerk great. However, what Hot Chip have succeeded in doing is making these tracks even more minimal and stripped back then Kraftwerk - something you feel they’d approve of. Overall, very fine work indeed.
